At ages 3-5, many important skills are strengthened that prepare them for Kindergarten. At Little Explorers, we support this growth in a safe and loving space by implementing activities that reinforce what they are learning at home.

GROSS MOTOR SKILLS
  • Jump with both feet or on one foot.

  • Participate in organized games (running, throwing, catching).

  • Improve balance and overall coordination

FINE MOTOR SKILLS
  • Draw recognizable shapes and some letters.

  • Write their name or part of it

  • Cut accurately using child-safe scissors.

  • Color within the lines

INDEPENDENCE
  • Throwing trash away properly.

  • Asking for help when needed.

  • Serving themselves snacks or pouring water (with supervision).

  • Taking turns and waiting patiently.
